Check the fuses first at all but if it flicker and then it stop then I really dubit that it's a fuse!

I would check the bulb first at all replacing the one that flicker with the one on the other side.
I'm pretty sure that it's the bulb. If not then do the same with the ballast.
Keep us updated!

I'd put money down that it's the Ballast going dead. I've installed one of those HID kits on my mercedes and have gone through 4 ballasts and i've not even driven with it on for more than 1 hour all together. I'm taking the whole kit out and selling it.

What kind did you buy? I bought that MeccaTune kit off Ebay. Trust me, don't waste your time, it's crap. Just go buy some nice piaa superwhite bulbs...

Just because you had problems doesnt mean HIDs are crap.

I know many including myself have HIDs for more than 3 years. Till this day no problems. Just buy a name brand unit, never touch the bulb and install the ballasts correctly. You should no problem.

BTW Piaa bulbs will never look like HIDs.

My HID's aren't crap. I got a good kit and I would NEVER give them up. It blows away any overpriced or cheap "super-ultra-mega-hyper white bulbs" any day as far as visibility on the road is concerned. I would check a few things. Bad fuses can cause problems. A low battery will cause the HID's to not work properly. Shorted wiring can do it also. Check it all out and see if it works. Try switching ballasts and see if the problem follows the ballast. That's all I can think of right now.

Sounds like your HID ballast is shorting out. Make sure that it is properly grounded. I had a similar problem happen to mine and had a pretty spark show coming from underneath my hood while driving down the NJ Parkway.
