Besides Magnaflow... what other HFC are worth buying? For stock twins.

I don't want to go with catless downpipe, I'm keeping the car as close to stock as possible.

There aren't any company who still make these nowadays, so I'm going to just buy an aftermarket catless DP, and get a good HFC and weld it in.

Question is, what brand is worth buying? I've had a few HFCs before on my other cars, some don't even last 1 session on the track(road race), some started clogging and the car drove like shit.

How about going with the HKS downpipe. It only eliminates one cat & will not trigger the check engine light unless you are OBD2.

HJS is a highly respected brand. It's part of a lot of aftermarket turbo back exhausts on Porsche 911 Turbos.

Just curious if someone can clarify....I was always under the presumption that a metal substrate cat would be better than a ceramic. True or false?

Vibrant makes a decent one, but it will blow out sooner or later (within a year) if you're anything but OEM.
