HKS 264 In 272 Ex Cams, what is the proper way to degree them?

i thought you didnt have to degree hks cams. they always made good power at 0.
maybe so, but degree'ing them in lets you know you are truely at 0

Lol, I was just about to post that as friend linked me it a few weeks ago. I was laughing when he was talking about the stock rods. :lol:

If you don't wanna watch it at first just go through the vid. He degrees the cams in it.

Super trick indeed, especially those fancy valves that are safe to 704 degrees C (1300 F). Those should last until they pull it out of the parking lot at least. LOL What ever happened with that engine -- what did it do?

Here are the HKS 264-272 ex cam specs. You can degree them individually.

HKS 264 Intake Cam (1mm lift - 0.0393" lift)
OPEN (ATDC) 2 deg
CLOSE (ABDC) 46 deg
Lobe Center (ATDC) 114 deg
1mm cam dur 224 deg

HKS 272 Exhaust cam (1mm lift - 0.0393" lift)
OPEN (ATDC) 50 deg
CLOSE (ABDC) -2 deg
Lobe Center (ATDC) 114 deg
1mm cam dur 232 deg
