Thanks for the reply. Altered Atmosphere installed these component's. I think these lights always were blinking. Altered never gave me any instructions for any of the products they installed.. I had to call and ask for them. The instructions for HKS evc were not mailed. So I went to mkiv.com and found some. As I was reading it said that one of the light's should light up green. Mine blinks green. The other light I guess should light up red. Mine blinks red. Can anyone tell me what this means. I really Don't wanna hurt the car.

You need to turn each knob all the way back and forth (repeatedly) until they stop blinking. Basically they need to find their location. Then and only then will the thing actually work for adjusting boost.

BTW, I've found that setting the knob in middle give ~1.2bar on most BPU cars.

If you do the spring mod you can actually turn it down significantly. But before middle was 1.2 bar for me now its like half of that.

i would search here to make sure you have it installed properly - there's a really go thread on it - basically the instructions that came w/ the EVC are wrong.

In addition, when you search, you'll find that you may need to reset the unit by holding down the power button and toggling the switch in the back until it beeps for a long time (like 10 sec).

Best of luck, its a great boost controller...

Mine reads "kpa". How did you get yours to read "psi" But, yes I did get it to stop blinking. I also see you could "A" knob is all the way up. The spring mod would change that wish I could help but i don't know how it's done. Thanks for the reply. I see you can only boost to 12 psi. I was told we could go to 18. You seem to be a good candidate for the spring mod.

the 12 psi is just the most recent peak hold, you can reset it anytime. i can boost much higher than that :) with the knob turned to 100%, it's about 22 psi in sequential and over 25 psi in ttc so i don't usually drive around with it turned all the way up. but every car is different.
