Nope.
^^What @Wreckless said. I had this HKS set-up on my first MKIII turbo, a brand new (at the time) 1990 model. Typical, top notch HKS quality and operated just as @Wreckless described. No, that was an HKS aftermarket part originally sold as a package with HKS branded TEMS compatible shocks and matching lowering springs with a stiffer springrate. IIRC the springs were light blue and the shocks were white or grey with HKS branding, made by Tokico or KYB, it's been 20+ years since I saw a set of them.
All were discontinued in the early-mid 90's with the launch of the HKS Hypermax I coilover lineup, along with the now-vintage-iconic HKS purple and polished silver color scheme.
The HKS TEMS controller works fine with any other TEMS compatible shocks though, and can force a setting to 'firm' manually without relying on the factory MKIII TEMS computer to decide when you need it set to 'Firm'.
Ah the memories! I bought one of these controllers for my mk3 back in 1996 and was so excited I could add more buttons to my shifter area. Brings back memories of driving the 90 supra with the targa off and blasting music. Was checking out this Supra that I bought and noticed it had a HKS tems controller, did they come stock with these?
