AWIDESUPIE... THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR SAYING THAT! K&n's are crap people! But they are on the top of the list for being "good" crappy filters.

I do not run a no filter setup. The non filter setups that you see in drag cars are there because of:

A.) Maximum power
B.) They rebuild just about every run

So you could have maximum power, but you're gona rebuild your turbo after about 1500 miles max. (thats what the indy car turbos compressor last for.... thats if they don't suck up any carbon)

Run a filter. ITG is the best filter ever. Nuff said. I have seen it with my own eyes on a flow bench.

You guys know the K&N commercial that shows a stock air filter with a K&N on the flow bench? Thats what it looks like when a ITG goes up against the K&N. The K&N barely flows compaired to a ITG.

A couple of places in the US sell ITG....

Forgot to mention that Amsoil came out with new filters, fairly recently, that seem comparable to ITG.

We are talking about the filter being used that you see in that picture. We see that it is a stock box with the front cover removed.

Yes its a "hi-flowed" stocker! now its been sealed so it can only suck cool air from the front, next will be some ducting to push some air in there!

think of your engine like your partner... you dont want anything besides what you put in geting in it!

That's what we thought. What kind of sealing and ducting did you do?<--- ... Just out of curiousity.

Right. But ... you want as much air as possible in it ... and you aren't exactly putting it in there your self. BUT ... II know what you mean.

That is why I said that the two best filters I know are ITG and Amsoil. They both filter better than stock and provide better flow than any other filter. <---The closest a filter can come to running w/o a filter ... but with the best protection. $.

Make sure that you check out everything at the ITG website.
Don't forget about the filters that Amsouil has to offer. I'm telling you that they are similar. Both have excellent quality and flow.
