How do you stop the horn from going off with an aftermarket steering wheel? Pretty sure the ground touches somewhere, my wiring is insulated properly, what is another option besides disconnecting the horn completely?

I have a Sparco steering wheel and I have no problems. Are you talking about having to run the wiring through the center hole? Please be more specific...

The wiring is through the hole and plugged into the center face(nardi wheel). When you press the face in it completes the ground to activate the horn. When I turn the wheel the horn goes off, assuming there is ground contact somewhere. I've spoke to people with the same problem that said just disconnect it.
