Im just about finished with my 2jz swap in my 240sx grand total weight is around 2900lbs the setup im running is going to be around 800-900whp range, what power levels do u start to beat bikes, 600-1300cc, i heard somewhere it takes 750whp in a supra chassis to beat a 1000cc bike let me know, thats what this summer has in store for me.

A VERY vague and somewhat "general" consensus is that it takes 600flywheel hp to beat a 600cc bike. 1000flywheel hp to beat a 1000.

But that is extremely vague statement and there are lots of factors.

well my car made 650whp/600wtq at 28psi on a greddy T78. I have a 93 Supra hardtop 6speed still on stock motor. I beat a 06 gsxr 600 no problem. I raced a
cbr1000 Sat. and I got beat which is what I expected.

Are you an auto or 6 speed? The auto will (usually) "get out" quicker but will give up alot on the big end. At 2900 lbs, as earlier stated 800-900 rwhp will beat any liter bike (except turbo or nitrous bikes). What speed's do you plan to run? BTW, I have a full weight 6 speed supra and usually punch off at 60 mph to about 190-200 mph with bikes.

Well I'm BPU and I've taken an '01/'02 R6 from a roll and beat him by about a car. I was running 19 psi on 100 oct. so with the power you have, you should have no problem beating most any bike that comes your way.

How did you get your car down to 2900 lbs? I am finishing up my 2jz swap in my
s13. With the RB25 motor in it the car weighted 3100 lbs. I don't think the 2jz is any lighter of a motor then an RB25. I wonder how much power the R154 trannys will hold? I have a PT67 turbo on a log manifold.

Can the R154 Tranny even handle that much power? I know V160s can handle anything you throw at it, but R154s?

the r154 tranny is rated to hold around 700whp give or take, my sr20det tranny would hold 400whp pushed it to 550whp no problem
