The one way vacuum block that comes with most aftermarket BOV's.

would it cause a vac leaks if one is not on there...im just curious cuase ive never ran one and never had a problem...except maybe slight turbo hesitation, just wondering if this was its cause..i don thave a boost leak, i already did a boost leak test with 14 psi compressed air from my custom made boost leak tester.

just wondering how important it is

I noticed when i pressure tested my manifold there was a slight leak through the bov diaphram.. its a hks ssqv.. and its old as hell.. works fine, never really had any problems with it.. so dunno... I havn't vac tested it to see if the diaphram is actually leaking/ torn..

the SSQV is the only one that comes with one I think. Neither the Greddy nor the Blitz or even the Apexi come with one and I believe it is just a filter
