Ok guys i am wondering how much i could sell my:
engine, auto tranny, wiring and ecu for. Its out of a 1987 supra turbo. It has 80K miles on it with no knocking,pinging and it doesnt have a BHG. The auto tranny shifts perfectly with no problems there. The turbo doesnt have any shaft play, but does smoke a little

So how much do you think i could sell all of it for?

Then also i know it has prolly been already discusses, but i want/am doing the 2jz swap into this car. I am wondering on cost, just for baseline stuff. Just a moderate size single turbo and basically stock everything else. Then what would be the price diff. in doing a auto tranny compared to a manual?

Locally you might be able to cop $1000 for the engine, and a couple hundred more for the trans.

I highly doubt you will get $1k for it when JDMs go cheaper. You might get more money by parting the turbo off it, but that makes it harder to sell the engine.

I said locally, that's the keyword. Find a sucker who is not familiar with the JDM scene.

Surprising like Thermactor, that should be pretty easy lol. I am just speaking from personal expierence, not alot of people in my area dunno about JDM scene and whatnot. Alot of people do rice around here. I mean really whats the point in having an aluminum spoiler on an 89 Accord? I mean I maybe way out of line but hey lol.
