Tell me what you guys think ...

Intake Filter
EGR Mod
SP Downpipe
Stock exhaust
Blitz SBCid Boost Controller
Automatic -

Okay I did a freeway run in 3rd gear at 18.5psi and on the blitz power id I got 319hp..

how accuate is that.. or is that too low???

319rwhp sounds pretty close... that would be about 370 at the engine, figuring on a 15% loss through the transmission
G
what do I need to do to get about 400rwhp... on the automatic...
i hope 319 isnt accurate. with those mods at 18.5psi even on stock exhaust should make around 360+ at the wheels on an auto.
G
on the power id I put that I was 3800lbs.. is that correct??
When I weighed my car with about 1/8 tank of gas and me in it I got 3580lbs. BTW I weigh 160lbs, so 3800 is too much.
G
hmm okay so 3580lbs with 1/8 tank right.. so estimated full tank is about let say 3650lbs (approx) plus me (im 200) so thats 3850lbs... and since I had 3800lbs, thats pretty much on the money..

Am I loosing so much power becuase Im auto??
G
you are losing power due to drag
G
your problem is your catback is stock give those turbos some breathing room, get a cat back:D

I agree that an exhaust would make a big difference.. but I dont have the $$$ for it yet.. but as soon as I do.. blitz nur spec here I come...!!
The exhaust will not get him from 315rwhp to 400rwhp. Take it to the dragstrip or dyno if you want to know what it's really making. My guess is it would be around 380rwhp if it was a 6-speed. With an extra 5% drivetrain loss due to the auto, he should still be at around 355rwhp.

who said the cat back was going to give him 85rwhp?? Nobody
Just said it would help everything flow more, thus producing more rwhp:cool:
I didn't state that anyone said the exhaust would give him 400rwhp. SpdRcr0 asked "what do I need to do to get about 400rwhp... on the automatic..." I merely wanted him to understand the buying a catback exhaust was not going to get him there. You did state "your problem is your catback". That is not his problem. He should be making more power than that even with the stock muffler. He will need a cat-back to get to 400rwhp, but an incorrect reading on his blitz power id is probably the problem.

I have the stock cat-back and on pump gas I run consistant 113mph traps. I pulled off the cat-back and ran with an open downpipe only one night, but I ran a 116mph trap, so the stock cat back defently hurts some. I haven't been to the dyno yet so I don't know how much HP I'm actually making though...
G
GUys guys .. relax.. I knwo about the supra.. and I know that the exhaust would not give me the 85rwhp... more like 10+/- rwhp...

Okay Im pretty sure that the power id is not totaly correctly calibrated.... any suggeestions???

Wind resistance in real road conditions sucks down mega horsepower, especially at high speeds.
G
... tonight I got 374hp on my power id during a freeway run from 3rd to 4th gear.. up to 130mph...

with about 3/4 tank
you might have a problem I dynoed 429 spike and 413 across the board on the dyno just using a avcr you might have a boost leak or you boost controler might have a whole in the line this is rwhp hope you find the problem or just get car dynoed at shop
