I'm buying a stock clutch and flywheel from Toyota. How much should the whole job cost? Parts and installation. This is for a Stock 97 TT. Thanks for your reply.
On the average the stock flywheel cost about $500
$150 for the disk and $250 for the pressure plate.
Most performace shops charge about $300 for a clutch install. I rather pay someone to put mine in but it not too bad doing it yourself. Only if you dont mind working in about 24" of space under the car and have all the tools.
$200-300 is a fair price. Its not an easy job (the tranny is heavy and the input shaft is really long and hard to line up) and you want to get a competent mechanic to do it.
Make sure they adjust the clutch "free play" via the clutch pedal so you don't start wearing down your clutch right away.
Good advice on clutches and 6-speeds from an Auto owner? hmmm...

Recently acquired a rhd supra and slowly starting the process of swapping things over. Got myself some glass headlights and wanted to swap bulbs while I’m at it. Been told jdm lights differ from usdm. Hard finding more info on this. Thoughts? Trying to find a quality hid system, seems LED isn’t...
I came across asking myself today, do you need a igniter when you go to a aftermarket ECU and Harness? I noticed my friend is running a MOTEC and does not have one for his car.
Hey guys,
Just installed a pair of S2 taillights on my 93 Supra RZ. I would like to convert to LED. I would like to purchase from here as the prices seem very good.
