I had my 94 USDM tt 6spd Red 19,194 miles bone stock appraised at $62,000 CDN
and 94 Canadian tt 6spd white 94,000 kilometers, with bolt ons appraised at $60,000 CDN

Both cars are currently insured based on appraised value.

^Thats a pretty penny. How much are you paying for insurence and what conditions? Im afrade to find out what I would have to pay. Im guessing 18k-20k would be my appraised value when its done.

I am insured on a 19A collector car policy. Only limitation is 5000kms/ year. Which i dont put on anyway. Insurance is based on insured value, not type of car. So any other 60,000 appraisal will have the same insurance premiums.

thats not bad. 5000km is more then enough since you dont drive winters and in spring you wisely wait for the salt to wash off the roads before driving. I havnt heard of the 19A collector car policy yet.

Speed for sale appraised mine for $166K. Since the appraisal I have a new interior and other under the hood mods. My car is insured under collector car policy.
