well i got a new pcv valve and was wondering how to change it. do i just pull on it? I remember someone saying be carful when changing it because some part can fall in and youll have to pull off the vavle cover. i dont want to mess up anything so any help is appreciated

Pull the PCV valve out then remove the rubber gromet. Then install in reverse.

Just be careful when removing the gromet as it's brittle.

Unhook the hose, then take a pair of pliers and slowly pull and wiggle,and it should come out. If you car has high mileage..or just want to be a little safer......warm the car up first so the rubber grommet gets a little softer and has a less chance of breaking or cracking...and the PCV valve will come out a little easier as well.
