I think my 02 may be going bad and i am curious if anyone knows a way to test them and wich brand they would recommend for a supra with aem ems.

To properly check an O2 sensor is to scope it out and check its pattern.

with an oscilloscope. generally built into scantools(good ones)


what makes you think it's going bad ?

^do you mean like a obd scanner you will still be able to get a read out if you have aem ems system?.

my car is running lean especially on wot applications....and this is after i replaced both fuel pumps (walbro 255's) and changed the fuel filter and verified that the fpr was working correctly.

As said, you need an oscilloscope and even then you'd only be able to tell if it was super out of spec.

OEM go with a denso sensor off amazon.com. Wideband go with a Bosch.

why would you be using a stock o2 sensor with aem or are talking about the bosch sensor for the wideband

if its the bosch sensor for the wideband just screw it out the downpipe leave it plugged in get some brake cleaner spray into a rag place sensor in the folded rag turn ignition on give it a few seconds to heat up and guage should go right to 10 and stay there for a functioning sensor..

Will do and i will take pics as well...im not shore what sensors i have as i didnt buy them...but i guess there probly bosch but where is the second 02 sensor
