I have some serious traction issues,I know i need a 4 wheel alignment, but was wondering what else I could do to get the best traction, and still have good handling
I have BFG drag radials, and they are toasted already,so im looking at different tires

Traction ,what is traction lol.

The two don't go together,to get the most traction you will need to bring out the rear camber to the + side so when the car squotes on taking off you maintain full contact on pavement.
Its up to you what you want but can't have the best of both, you will have to sacrifice a bit on handling thats what I did.
One good option for the traction...

Racelogic

Racelogic

Exactly, plus modified Lance alignment and a TRD LSD. Race Logic and the TRD LSD is the best combination available for high powered street cars on street tires. Should work even better if you're running drag radials.

+1 for Racelogic and Drag Radials, works great for rain, too.
where do I get a Racelogic kit? link please
Another vote for Racelogic. It's maybe the best investment I've ever made in an aftermarket component. It's one reason I chuckle to myself when I read about Supras getting no traction, or cringe when one looses control and crashes and ...God forbid... someone gets injured.

Read up on the traction control section and the US distributor is listed here someplace: http://www.racelogic.co.uk/
I would chuckle about out of control crashes in Supras too but I lost my first Supra in the rain =/. It was great motivation to get the Racelogic for my 2nd Supra and it works fantastic, really!
it also helps to get some 10.5 to 11.5 rear wheels and best tire sizes for it as in 295 and up . the wider the contact patch is the better the traction with performance tires will be.
I already have 18 x 10 in the rear,with 295s
Im looking into 305s now

and i sware there is something in the AEM EMS that allows traction control???
Nobody has figured out the AEM traction control AFAIK. I'd go with racelogic as well. I plan on picking it up over the winter. My friend has it in his Supra and it works amazinglly well.

There are great instructions to install a Racelogic on MKIV.com at this link : http://mkiv.com/techarticles/racelogic_Install/index.html

To supplement the pinout for the trac ecu for 1998 Supras, Curt from Elmhurst Toyota was nice enough to send the diagram (which differs from the 1995 Supra used as the car in the MKIV tech article) and I uploaded it to here: http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/6806/racelogicpinoutcj4.jpg

To pick up the Racelogic for your application send an email to Mark at Woodhouse who is the Racelogic official distributor for the US. His email is: [email protected]
I wrote an email to the guy, how much is this unit? I know it may have gone up but how much did all you guys pay?
I paid $1190.00 for the unit without Full Throttle Shifting, which you can read up on at : http://www.racelogic.co.uk/?show=Traction_Control-Technical-Full_Throttle_Shift

It sounds nifty but I'm not driving a manual.
Is the racelogic compatible with an AEM EMS?
at what power level would u guys recommend this racelogic traction control?
Is the racelogic compatible with an AEM EMS?
Yes. Racelogic is its own ecu. You can use the racelogic unit with any type of ecu or standalone.

I also have the racelogic. Every once in a while you will see a used one pop up for sale in the for sale section. It is definitely a good investment if you drive a high hp Supra on the street.
+1 as Ken says.
