Hey Guys. I am actually asking myself this question for years now and I would be awesome, to get some hints about it.

Some years ago, the 2jzgte engine of my Supra MKIV (94) automatic blew up. I bought a used one from the US and replaced the old one with it.
Everything went fine. So now I use the US engine in a german Supra MKIV.
But I got aware of the fact, that the german engine has around 30 rwhp more than the standard version.
The question is:
What is the best and most efficient tuning, to get the 30rwhp back? (Up to 50 would be very fine)
The tuning should be not visible at best.
(Chiptuning; Intercooler; etc.?)

You would help me a lot if you can give me a hint or if you have a suggestion.:wavey:

Best regards
Armin

If you replaced only the engine assembly and used all your original wiring , sensors...etc. it should not be any different. the turbos on the US / Euro version are the same.

the difference in power from different versions of Supras is because the different factory settings in the ECU, injectors, turbos...etc.

maybe your US engine needs a tune up.
