I have read that but i whought it was for an electric gauge. Mine has a steel braided line with a T to screw it in to something at the end. Why is there a hole through that bolt? Sorry for the stupid wuestions but i still dont understand.

The union bolt has a hole in to screw in your pressure sensor. All oil pressure gauges will be mechanical initially, unless you already have an oil pressure sensor, and you simply tap into it, which you don't. You pull out your original union bolt, thread in the new one, and then screw your pressure sensor into the hole in the union bolt using silicon tape to insure a nice seal.
