Hey, I've got an 87 turbo with targa. I was just wondering what I can do to lighten it up a bit besides the usual things like losing the spare and the jack?? (I'm sure this has been covered before but I couldn't find it with the search)

Thanks,

Matt

Burn more calories than you consume, haha.

depends what you wanna do with it, if you want to dragrace it, don't get rid of the jack or spare as you need the weight in the back...

the interior and sound deadening material are the heavy bits, the entire underside of the car is covered in rubber...

plus, it's a tank, remember heavy cars ride better at speed, soaking up bumps and not allowing them to upset the chassis...

You don't "need" the spare for the weight. You can always move your battery to the back and get some mean subs [/joke].
