I've never picked up a welder, can someone explain to me how you execute nice welds in between the ports like that?

Weld the valley pan last, and then use a pencil torch around the runners. There is a bit more room than one would think.

How much would that cost?
In that thread he was saying they basically start at $2500 and go up with options

There are 4 root style passes to build up the fillet, then one top weld that I call a cap which is what most people call a weave.

The weave is a pattern like this l/l/l/l/l/l/l/l and drop rod in at the top and the bottom.
