How do you know if your engine is short block or long block? stupid question i know.. but I want to know if mine is short block.
someone told me a while ago that all stock are short block??

Where is the Yay area? :)

The shortblock refers to the engine block which houses the crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, etc. It does not include the head of the engine which has the valve train in it (cams, valves, etc)

if its longer than a short block its a long block. if its shorter than a long block its a short block :bigok:
