If I know I'm going to reach my destination soon, I drive like a granny and then idle it for about 30 seconds while I put the top back on, or fiddle with the radio stations a bit, if you guys don't have 30 seconds to wait then leave earlier..!

I stay off boost for a couple of minutes before I arrive where I need to be, keeping the RPMs low the entire time. If you're boosting in the parking lot then you definitely need to idle longer, but I see no reason to step on it when I know I'm about to arrive..

I'll boost up to the garage sliding in sideways with tire/coolant smoke coming off it and shut it off.

No problems ever.

It's a useless mod because modern turbos, and the CT-26, are water cooled. Turbo timers are only needed on an oil cooled turbo as the oil gets MUCH MUCH hotter, and will start to "coke" the oil turning it into dust that can clog oil passages. With a water cooled turbo the oil is kept cool enough where this isn't an issue. turn off the car right away, no harm is done.

Obvious exception would be if you are really beating on the car, do not just shut it off, but that goes for NA engines too.

Just buy the hks harness..thats what i did..hooked it up worked fine, then i took it off put it in a box and sat it on a shelf

rip out your alarm and put in a viper system that does alarm and remote start, then turn on the turbo timer feature. and during your down time learn to speak english

Lmao. Haven't seen a thread about TTs in awhile. They are worthless. I have as well drove boosted all the way HM.... Turned her off and never had issues. I just got used to counting to 30 and turning her off. Are you really in that big of a hurry you don't have 30 seconds? Sell it my man.....
