Just like it says. Anyone know how to wire the airbag and cruise control on a celica GTS steering wheel to work on a MKIV? The adapter is no longer available.

Curt told me there is no more as of Jan. 2007. Why I don't know.

Yeh, Curt told me the same thing. "AB adapters are discontinued. You'll have to splice your original AB connector to the replacement air bag." But i am upgrading to a 98 steering wheel.

all the three spoke wheels require the adapter.
Glad I got 1 while it was still around

Someone did a write up on it not to long ago .. i think what they ended up doing was using the Supra CC switch and mounting it onto the new wheel and then it plugs directly in.

I'm loolking that thread , but what will bolt on will be using your CC, not the Airbag, the airbag will need the adapter or split the wires, I'm in the same boat, need to know how to wire them

I just need the airbag and horn to be hooked up. I don't care about the cruise control. There's a write up on how to wire this in? I have the steering wheel on the way.

any reason you can't cut of the oem connectors and use a generic female and male 2 wire molex connector? the adapter only connects the airbag wires from one type to another.

I was able to buy my adapter from my local Toyota dealer in Sydney/Australia.

Maybe you guys can do the same, order from UK or Australia, or call up some Toyota dealers in US.

I found this out later after my wires were spliced, Carson Toyota has the connector for $25.88
