hey,

here are the car's details:

MK3 1991 MT
7MGTE built (MHG + ARP, Pistons, Rods,...)
CT 26 60mm Upgraded (NO PLAY, excellent condition - 100%)
2,5" Hardpipes complete + HKS SSQV
3" Intercooler
3" HKS Turbo back
RPS Stage 3 Clutch
Fidanza Flywheel
K&N Airfilter
550 Injectors
Walbro
NGK Iridium brandnew
Greddy Profec E01
Apexi SAFC
Wideband, EGT

Car put down about 300RWHP at dyno @ 13PSI (i dunno why it dropped so much... probably no load).
Car runs at about 17PSI on the streets, with the E01 set at 90% !
Wideband @ WOT ~11,8
EGT @ WOT @ 1550F (@5th-6th cyl)
Karmann Max is about 1600HZ (so no FC ... that would be 2000HZ)

We had to take out ~19% fuel to get this numbers... so we're pretty much at stock fuellevel!

So numbers are perfect, car runs fine, car is not smoking, loosing oil whatsoever ... but why the hell just 300 RWHP?
CT26 60 is supposed to make around 430RWHP! even more with all the mods!

I'd really need help ... what can it be? we're going totally crazy with that car...

we can't find one ... and 150HP because of a boost leak? that would be really huge...

any ideas how to TEST it?

The boost leak tester is the only thing I can think of. Also some people use a tad bit of water on the couplers and see if it bubbles. The boost leak tester is fairly easy to make and all of the parts can be supplied at any hardware store. I'll try to find a link to it.

Good luck and I hope this helps!

need more load and boost... IIRC you need to be pushing quite a lot more boost to hit those numbers... what dyno?

where the plugs gapped? iridiums can act like glowplugs in high boost apps and they warn not to gap them, but they REALLY need to be gapped, just gotta be careful...

well.. it was the dyno at DYNOEXTREME - dunno which one, but 300RWHP ... thats ridiculous for a 60mm !

we didn't gap the NGKs nope ... got them brand new and installed them :)

how much boost do you think i would need for 430RWHP? i always read around 18-19 ! and i do 17 with 150HP missing...

you might be getting blow out with the iridiums, dunno but it's worth a shot to go to copper or platinums that are gapped correctly...

I'd do the boost leak tester though, might have a hole in the IC or somethin..

i think u just need more load for one... but 4 psi isnt going to make up 100 hp.

i dont think your setup will make u 430 whp on 17 lbs... lundsfords setup was 9.1:1 compression to make 430 on 20 psi

Give me the car and I'll get it to make the power you want.

And no, I won't give it back :)

Seriously, here's what you should do:

Post your AFR's
Do a compression test
Check your timing
Change your plugs
Check for boost leaks
Get a lexus afm so you don't have to pull so much fuel
Get a divorced downpipe to replace the stock elbow and the HKS crap downpipe

That's about all I can come up with.

Post your AFR's

-> i'll try to do that... let's see if i can run it with a buddy on the weekend

Do a compression test

-> mhm, car runs superfine... mhm... don't have the equipment to do it... would need a shop :(

Check your timing

-> no equipment too :(

Change your plugs

-> the NGK's are brand-new ... this is not my first supra... always ran fine with them!?

Check for boost leaks

-> will do that too on the weekend

Get a lexus afm so you don't have to pull so much fuel

-> oops... i think i have an LEXUS AFM, forgot to list it :(

Get a divorced downpipe to replace the stock elbow and the HKS crap downpipe

-> turboknee is replaced (3") and HKS DP installed ... well, not my first Supra - and i was always satisfied with HKS DP :) ... also have the HKS Exhaust (but with the 2 small tailpipes... maybe that restricts?)
any more ideas?

Sounds to me like you need atleast 10 more lbs of boost and a good tune. :)
