After searching through 1JZ threads I saw that people said to use 2JZ valve cover gaskets on a 1JZ engine. After ordering them I see that the 2JZ gaskets have 2 extra little curves on one side where as the 1JZ valve cover is straight. Now what do I do?

just bend it in place... youll understand one you put it on.. i was in the same dilemna as you, but i put it on and bent it in place... works great.

thank you , I appreciate the info, while your at it....did you install both at same time as to have the vebt pipe already connected or one at a time and slide vent pipe? thanks

oh i did both at the same time, unbolted both valve covers and lifted them up together. and placed it on a table and did em both... basically together everything, haha, goodluck man...
