ok, well i screwed in all four corners when putting back the top...now how come the middle one is not coming down?? i tried forcing it down but it would budge...i can't tighten it until it comes down...it's a pain in the ass...does anyone know what to do?

You need to do the midddle one first. Then tighten all four corners. Don't over tighten a corner then try to tighten the others because you will warp the top and the other screws wont line up.

that's the thing even if i tried to lock the middle one first, it just wouldn't go down, i'm not sure if the rubber is in the way...but it's real annoying..and i can't drive like that

I had the same problem a while back. The little "noise makers" that pop up when you remove the targa would not seat properly into the channel when putting the targa back on. So I removed the springs that force them to pop up. Hope that makes sense... Good luck.
