ummm...lol... sponsor you for what? Like as a drag strip car?

I'd imagine it would work something like this. they give you money to make your car fast, and in return you slap their LOGO on your ride and better start winning races.

Before you do anything you gotta find stuff out. Like whats all included in this deal.. They SHOULD probably have some contract or something.. i would read that very carefully before signing anything. You could very well just call them and ask too, i'm sure they'd be more than willing to tell you.

I don't think you'll be allowed to drive it anymore....

There is this guy with a REALLY clean eclipse in our area.

and he only gets to drive to the local hangouts on the weekends, and is escorted by 2 other beater cars.

I don't think it's where you wanna go, unless you wanna make your car a weekend car.

TELL THEM TO CALL ME!

ya, my guess is you'll be required to attend certain events, turn your car into a billboard, and in return they'll give you money to mod your car... note: i'm assuming

Let us know how it goes man!! I"m kinda interested to hear what they say

A lot of the time these companies just give you minimal discounts on parts, but you have to put their name all over your car. They probably won’t take your car or anything like that, and if they do, stay away, they'll keep it for a long time, maybe racing it everywhere they choose. So, when you get your car back, it could be all beaten up from racing.

i went thru those guys and all their b.s. last year. they are a wholesale distributor. you get up to 60% off of parts, you run a windshield sticker of your color choice, you have to either:
1. enter at least 5-7 car shows a year, with one being a national event.
2. enter at least 5 races a year with at least one bing a national event.

the thing that sucks with them is if they don't have the part you have to wait until they get it, you are not allowed to buy anything from another shop, it also costs you 75 bucks to get sponsored. and you pay for shipping on the parts until you have spent 200 bucks on shipping and then it is free.

you have a 10000 sponsorship which means you can 5000 and they will match the other 5000.

they have a wide variety of parts but after they get your money it is hard as heck to get anything else from them.

like i said, i did this crap last year, and tried to get about 6500 worth of stuff from them and after 2 months of nothing i sent the enitre sponsrship package back to them minus the t-shirt which is now a shop rag.

i agree with mister2, i went through the same thing with them on my other car. They called me and played up this sponsorship so i bit into it. The only benifit i really saw was all the sponsorship boiled down to free shipping. I know i had to pay for shipping, but with the "discount" they gave me, it was no more than shipping cost. kinda get what i mean. You are better off finding a shop around your area, buying some things from them, sending people there that say you sent them and hope they give you a discount. i did that here and got a hell of a better deal on parts. I would say that it isn't worth the trouble with racerx, and they are hard to get ahold of and to get parts from. just my experience and .02

p.s. i only had to go to four shows, local or national and they do have a contract

its a waste of time!! u have to pay half AND go to like 90% of all the car shows around ur area, u have to spend a ton to save a ton too... i think u have to meet a certain cost per year with them or they will "drop" you.... my buddy is in this with his civic and he is starting to hate it because of his so called discount and the fact that he has to attend every car show, dont get me wrong i love going to car shows BUT i dont want to end up having to build everything around a car show.......

It's a scam. Anyone and everyone who enters the "drawing" gets accepted. They say that they sponsor you for a 79$ fee, but they really charge you 79$ for some "discounts" that don't save you any money at all and give them the 79$ profit.
