Hey guys I have searched and im not coming up with anything. Basically I want to run a IACV (intake air control valve) but I wanted to know if I can do without some of the lines. I am running a haltech ecu. I see some people run a filter for the larger hose. I wanted to know if you NEED to run the coolant lines as well? Im trying to eliminate running any coolant through the intake manifold to keep temps down. On my s2000 you could simply bypass the coolant lines if you had a standalone and it still worked well. Im hoping to do the same on the supra.

Any help is appreciated.

the lines on the IACV for the coolant are only for cold start situations. if you are not planning on running your car in freezing, or near freezing temps, you dont need them. as for the larger one, just throw a small filter on it and call it a day.

Hey thanks a lot I appreciate it. I was assuming thats what I would be able to do since I have done that on all previous project cars. Just wanted to double check. Thanks again!
