I've had the idea of buying a Top Secret diffuser for sometime now, but if I can take my car to any track days or not I'm worried about knocking it off or it being stolen... I thought about building a custom sheet metal one but wondered if it wouldnt be allowed by SCCA or not?

what do you mean by allowed? You worried about changing competitive class?

As for being knocked off - if that were to happen, I think you'd have bigger things to worry about because of the size of the accident required to do that.

^^ That's what I was thinking, If you knocked off your diffuser you just wiped down a guard rail pretty good!

I am sorry for my stupidity, I guess I mean if I drive around and hit a speed bump and leave a big chunk of diffuser in the ditch LOL....

As for legal, isnt there guidlines as to what material, etc....? its all new to me.
