When I bought my car the owner said that the motor was replace with a jdm engine but after I put the motor I notice that it haas the EGR. I'm thinking they may have swap it from the old motor. What other ways can I identify if its a jdm or usdm motor

.....you can't..?

you can swap over all USDM components on it, only way to tell is if it's right off boat, but some differences include:

-Different oil pressure sender (some say no some say yes, but I've personally had 2 JDM engines, both senders had to be switched out)
-Heater lines are in reverse order from USDM lines
-EGR blocked off
-NA manifolds won't have access door above y-pipe

otherwise, it's the same thing..

JDM/Euro oil pressure sensors read in BAR. USDM reads in PSI.

is there any other way to tell if my previous owner swapped a jdm and put all the us parts on? no special stamping or anything internal i might find?

All 7m motors are made in Japan, they all came here on a boat.

well the point i was trying to get at, is that most typical "true" jdm motors are shipped with low miles...go to any US junk yard and theyre 100k+ nowadays...so basically if i were to find the slightest sign that my motor had been shipped in i could assume it had somewhat lower miles than i originally expected.

sorry, my car is a hodge podge and i was hoping to get a glimmer of hope with this motor.
