That asshole wouldn't be walking out of the event under his own power.
They do those "spectator drags" local here to and I've seen some pretty nice cars get wrecked, but it was always the drivers fault.
From the people I've talked to I guess your insurance won't cover the damage if they find out how it really happened to. I guess because you entered a "race event" or something.

I guess the race was a free for all type of shit where you bring any type of beater so carnage was expected, don't why he entered it with a new srt8.

That's exactly what it is. They're called "spectator drags" around here.
I've seen some Z06's, 911 turbos and some other high end stuff. I think they're insane for using those cars personally.
One time this kid in a super clean 2001 SS was beating everyone then the next race some asshole in a old beat 5.0 rubbed cars like in a fucking movie.
Destroyed the whole side of the Camaro.

The dude in the Blazer was not at fault, no need to be mad at him. This is a "Days of Destruction" event (read this from Jalopnik) where people actually sign waivers and are encouraged/allowed to crash their vehicles. In the end, the SRT8 guy is either
1. Really stupid
2. Stupid rich
3. Both
