So I recently ran a carfax for my car.. and it comes back as having heavy front end collision in Florida. The car has never been in Florida and all VIN tags are in place (hood, fenders, all doors, and the rear tailgate). Obviously, if the car was in heavy front end collision, it wouldn't have at least one of the hood or fedner VIN tags.

Any ideas on how to expunge this off the carfax.. or is it marked for life? This substantialy decreases the resale value of this vehicle. This sucks.

Fuck carfax and the person who mistyped the VIN on the police report. :madf: :rant2: :madf: :furious:

yeah, my mustang was stolen a couple of summers ago and there's no mention of theft in the report. that'd be nice if I could get compensated by them...was worth right around 5k :)
