Indiglo guage install problems

Hi all, need a bit of help here. I am in the process of installing indiglo guages in my 94 TT and have hit a snag. I am following the directions on the mkiv.com site, but this is not in the instructions. I have removed the dash and the 4 screws that hold the speedo cluster in place. I have removed the 3 plugs from behind the cluster, but still cant get it out. There appears to be a brown wire leading into the cluster that cant be removed. I dont want to yank on it if it is something important obviously. I have attached a picture and appreciate any help! Thanks!

Hmmm. The only thing I had connecting to the back of my instrument cluster were 3 plugs along the top. A Brown one, a white one, and a blue one. Once those 3 came out, it was disconnected...
its not a wire, its just a little tab that connects to the back of the cluster... you can take it out
Thanks for the tip urmild! I'll know for the next one I do. I just went ahead and did the install with the cluster in the dash area...talk about a PITA! But, it's done and it looks good now :)
