Indiglo MkII Gauges...

I am working on getting custom indiglo gauges made for the MkIII Supras and was wondering if the MkII guys would be interested as well.

I found a site that will make the template if we can get 15 people to commit to one exact face (not counting the lettering). This means we need 15 people to commit to buying a kit for their 5 speed and 15 people to commit to buying a kit for their Automatic.

The requirements are you pay 75% of the final purchase price up front (when there are 15 total orders per style) and the rest when the gauges are ready to ship. What's the cost? their gauges are going for $139.95 but the initial group purchase would be 10% off the top.

All gauges are completely customizable once the basic template is created. They are available in both reverse and regular indiglo with several choices for fonts etc. They will also do completely customized gauge faces - there is a picture of one gauge done in both regular and reverse indiglo in a yin/yang type symbol.

Please do not forward questions to their sales people. Their website has all the information you will need to make your choice.

I have also emailed a few customers that had put their email up on the site. Every response I have received has said these gauges are great qaulity and they highly recommend the company.

Check out their site at http://www.speedhut.com

Post any questions here.

If we can get 15 people to commit to one style (5 speed or Automatic) we will start the process - we really want 30 people so we can do both.

If you have any direct questions for me please email me at [email protected]. I have been chatting with Speedhut and can probably answer most questions about this possible group purchase.

Thanks in advance, We now return you to your regularly scheduled MkII conversation.

The only problem is, the MKII Gauges are not a removable insert. They are printed right on the plastic background, the entire rectangle.

Having been inside the dash, it is possible to hook up removable guages. The whole thing is one big piece that comes out, and has something like 4 plugs (5 for the automatic) and the speedo cable. The speedometer cable will work for any guage it'll fit, and the other wires will work for other guages. Someone just needs to find the wiring diagram to firgure out which wires to splice. It's not that hard, just a little time consuming. I could even fabricate my own instrument cluster (ordering the guages of course). Easier if someone else did it.
