So i had my whole wiring harness out and im putting her back together and ive come to an issue. not sure if its stock or how the PO wrapped the harness but its hard to distinguish which injector wires go to which injector. Is there a wiring diagram of the injector wires? they all have different colour combiniations so if i had something to go by im fine. i looked all through the (pain in the ass online version) TSRM and i cannot find a diagram or any help.

2nd question, i have to wire in some new clips for the new 550's. how do you distinguise which wire goes to which connection if both are the same on the new clips? is there only 1 way it can go? just cut and wire in whichever way?

for the record, i hate wiring.

thanks.

Clips do not matter which wire it's soldered to as it's just a pulse sent through.

actually when i look at the harness, the only distinguishable wires(bend and length) are 5 and 6 and now that i double check the wiring, it doesnt make sence. white and red would be 5 when black and white/red would be 6. 5th wire(in this case) almost seems to short to get to 6 so thats why im 2nd guessing. plus the colour of the clips (white/brown) seem to have a patern up untill this situation at the end, if i did it by how your saying it would go 1(white), 2(brown), 3(white), 4(brown), 5(brown), 6(white). Something doesnt add up. fucking wiring man.

The injector clips should alternate colors but I would go off the wiring since the clips could have been changed by the PO.

i guarentee this is how it was running before i took it apart. im sure i could tell if it was running with mixed up injector wires. where would i trace it to to see if the wiring was played with? the odds of the clip being wrong and the length being wrong seem slim. its gota be wiring

Plugs 1/3/5 should be grey while 2/4/6 should be maroon. You could swap them at idle to see which runs smoother if you can't trace the wiring.

1 & 4 Yellow and White/Blue
2 & 6 Black and White/Red
3 & 5 Red and White
Solid yellow, black and red are from the resistor
Wow thank you for giving proper information.

I cant complain because you helped, kneedragger, but you gota give the right information. i was ready to start cutting and it would have been wired wrong.
