hey guys...well, my friend and i just spent yesterday morning installing the rest of my stereo system. we installed an eclipse 7301 double din (thanks ktrends ) and some boston components in the doors.

all i can say about the eclipse 7301 is, talk about a perfect fit!!! the screen is amazingly clear...however, the eclipse interface isnt too attractive...looks sorta like an old DOS program. but overall, the 7301 is awesome!

during the install, we also installed my playstation2 and a power inverter. my friend hardwired the inverter from the cigarette lighter. all works well and running!!! try to guess what movie is playing on the screen

so currently, my system includes an eclipse 7301, bostons all around, and 2 JL subs. next would be the power the front and rear speakers.

i was plan on purchasing the 7301 from al and ed's electronics but they quoted me something like $2000. ack! i passed on that and found ktrends selling his 7301. i bought it for 925.

I got's a question on that eclipse is there a CD player or do you have to hook up a cd changer or another external CD player?? I could hook up my PS2 as I never play it but i was wondering if maybe the face folds down and there is a CD player back there??

I have a 7301 in my Supra, have for a while. I also have the manual. If you have any questions about the deck please feel free to email me at [email protected]

A little note: if you get some work done to your car, and for some reason the deck won't power on (the display just flickers), send me an email. I can tell you how to fix it, involves disconnecting the power from the display face motor.

This happened to me on 2 7301's back when I owned my Stealth. Funny how Eclipse hasn't changed that deck in 2-3 years. Still trying to find a 2301 cheap to attach to it. Currently only have an N64 attached.

eclipes is not allowed to be sold on the net !if you do find it you most likely will have no warrenty best place to look is ebay!
