I plan to install my old-school Apexi S-AFC tomorrow and I'll get to the dyno sometime in the next couple of weeks. My AFC is the one with the five knobs for various RPM ranges. Should I just set all knobs to "0" for now?

Where is the best place to splice into the ECU wires and what is the best method to do it?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, start with 0 unless your car is currently running lean.

Best place is to splice right next to the ECU. With the key out and the negative battery terminal disconnected unplug the ECU harness and pull it down gently. You should be able to get a vampire/splice connector on with minimal fuss. For the AFM you'll have to cut the AFM wire about 1-2" from the ECU harness and connect the ends to the appropriate wire on the S-AFC.
