My supra is BPU and without a front mount, which Im looking to add now.

I had origionally looked at getting the ETS front mount intercooler kit, but before I pull the trigger Id just like to see if anyone else has any reccomendations on other intercooler kits to look at before I buy from ETS. The ETS kit is about $1300 and its good to 800hp supposedly which is more than I need. The most ill ever be going to is about 600hp with single. Is there anything else in the around $1000 price range I should be looking at for complete intercooler kits?

I am looking for the "name brand bling" factor. I dont want a crappy no name intercooler.

I was going to try and shy away from used intercoolers because I want it to look new, I want all the hardware and relocation stuff that comes with new kits etc.

*edit*
Absolutely not interested in the HKS type S, its not even a complete kit lol... what a joke.

I think the Type S is just to thin for any kind of bling factor and may not cool as well as a 4" core. You can find used Greddy 3 Rows in that range that are in good shape. You can't go wrong with an ETS intercooler though. Great quality and good customer service. I'd go for them. The only thing I don't like is that they use steel piping. Benefits are that it's far more durable than aluminum at the cost of being heavy.

They're out there, mine had pretty much everything and picked it up for $800 shipped.

I would pay a grand all day long for a used greddy 3 row if it had everything I needed with it and the core was in mint condition :(

Ill probobly end up just buying the new ETS setup.

Not interested in the CX racing stuff thanks for the suggestion though. Ill say they make good piping with nice rolled ends I used them for my last build on a Honda, but Their intercoolers arent up to snuff and their new MKIV intercooler setup is priced right up there with ETS

Again, not a big fan of their end tank designs. I don't think they have diverters inside them, so the air isn't going to make a 90 degree right turn and then another 90 degree left turn to go to the top of the core. Most of the flow is going to go straight across the core.

Don't get me wrong the Type R won't make the most power out there, but for 650-750 hp it's a good fit.

do you have any opinions on ETS' design? They get great reviews from most people. I just wish it was a few hundred bucks cheaper! lol

They use large cores, their end tanks again aren't great. But if you have a large core that'll get you to where you have to go, good end tank design or not.
Personally the only one I ran was a Greddy 4 row.
