Is an intercooler sprayer kit worth the money and which one is the best?

im going to have to say no to that one for a few reasons

1. you have to refill the tank and it can become very expensive

2. you usually only spray while at the track

3. the gains really arent that significant for hte money spent

4. oyu have to worry about the spray being sucked up in the intake

they look tight on cars but i think the whole concept is not worth it. my .02 though

simple solution to this problem

go to a sheet metal place and buy some aluminum sheet... go to a tupperware store and find a plastic cover about the size of the top of your intercooler

now weld a little compartment above your intercooler with the aluminum... put the tupperware top on it... place a hose going under the car and fill with dry ice

seen a couple cars with that set up and have been planning to do it myself... had it done to a spare intercooler (a greddy 3 row that got fucked up) and it seemed rather reliable

just make it look pretty and no one will ever know

You assume he is talking about an no2 spray kit. Water spray kits are very effective, simple to install, and are very inexpensive.

They are a great cooling aid to help take the edge off summertime heat.
