Cool! :D I'm gonna have Pioneer system soon... Alpine was out of my budget. :( Did it come with Master Unit and TV tunner?
I'm not sure what a Master Unit is, I doubt it then and also no TV tuner...:(

I'm happy with it tho:)

You need to have that if you want surround sound and etc.....
May be it's built in on Alpine? :)
Oh I know what your talking about now...I just didn't know the name for it...that thing is huge...i had to mount it underneath my seat...
very nice setup. mobile multimedia rocks. i was split between alpine and eclipse, and ended up with eclipse. also, your mkiv looks mint too!:)

by the way, do any of you guys know if there is a tv tuner you can add?
G
Pioneer has one and it's only $200. :D I'm getting it with my system. DVD's gets boring after awhile and sometimes you don't want to miss the news. :D
I was thinking about putting in PSOne into my car, however I ran into kinda of a problem...I didn't know how to hardwire the power inverter into the car and i have no place to put, both PSOne and the power inverter...DAMN IT!!
Any suggestions??

my power inverter is hardwired onto the cigarette lighter. not really recommended by some installers because of shorting something out but it works for me without any problems.

its a cheapo $20 one from fry's. its small and hides away perfectly underneath the passenger seat.

it powers my ps2 so i don't have to get a seperate dvd player.:)
that's cool....however mine is a 300watt Whistler power inverter(Hmm...u think i should have gotten a smaller one?? ) and i can't seem to hardwire it anywhere...

Oh, where did you mount your PS2? Or did you just leave it on the floor??

Damn...these are some quick replies:D
i think my inverter is 140 watt. 300 might is too much.

my ps2 just sits upright behind the passenger seat. when you move the passenger seat back, the ps2 fits snug and doesn't move any all.
Hey do you have a second screen up in the passenger sunvisor?? I also wanted to get this however I'm not sure how much it would cost to get installed, b/c I'm guessing you need to do some custom work to get a screen to fit in there...
Oh I was thinking of putting the PSOne in the glove box, u think it'll fit???

I am wanting to get a acreen and a DVD player. I like what SupraSeTRD has and I was wondering how much did it cost?
I got my about a year ago...the CVA-1005(TV Screen) cost around $950 and the DVD Player was about $900...=Total ~$1850 for the entire setup...
Oh I also got a custom switch to watch DVD's while driving(It's illegal to watch and drive at the same time=))...that cost me about $30.

I was also wondering if your DVD player would also playt CD's or if it only played DVD's?
I have an idea about a system of putting a screen in the passenger side air bag's spot... I talked to a local audio shop, and all I have to do is buy the hardware, but... they want me to remove the bag myself... I guess they don't want the thing blowing up in their face... haha
DVD players do play cds too yes.
