Do you need FMIC to be BPU? And does a FMIC make HP? Do I get more torque with FMIC? Thinking of ordering the HKS Type-S Intercooler, Is this a good one?

certainly improved lotsa hp in my case. Honestly, i don't know why the mkiv site has advised against this. I personally didn't feel any lag after the install. More importantly, you could boost a coupla psi more before detonation.

I wouls go with the Greddy 3 row not the HKS.

FMIC is not part of BPU. It is a plus (+).
i know of a few people who used the hks type s on there singles with over 550 rwhp and had no problems !

HKS Type S is great. My car was fast before I got it installed, but afterwards, it was a freaking rocket. Definitely get one.

My HKS type S is on the way. I can't wait to install it next weekend!! My car will be BPU++. I am going to Dyno the car before and after. I will post the results.
Having a FMIC will improve efficienty and is very helpful; if you plan to go further (upgraded turbos). I would be aware of the pressure drop from different FMICs though, search and try to find the best type for your needs.

This FMIC is one of the most efficient out there...check the thread out of ADFX's website ( www.ADFXRacing.com )

Can I actually feel the difference with the FMIC, I currently have stock turbos? OR is the difference not noticable.:D
