lines after changing pads only? My rears are down to 1~2mm and I would like to change them soon. Also do you put that anti-squeek compound on?

No need to bleed the brake since you're not letting any air into the lines with a pad change. Yes, you definitely want to use anti-squeal compound.

You don't have to bleed your brakes when you put new brake pads on.

But if you haven't bled your brakes in a while, I suggest that you do, just 'cuz you'll feel a good difference in the braking power.
