I just bought a 94 tt supra with 6 speeds the engine appear to be all stock but after check I am not sure. the car's VIN is

0018000 or so and the engine right next to the 2JZ is stamped 0290000 serial number.

Should the the car vin be the same as the engine serial number.

Experts please help. If my engine is wrong how do I find out what it is out of?

The block #'s don't match the VIN.

A replacement block has no numbers on the plate.

E-mail me your VIN and I can run the window sticker and give you the block number to see if it matches what you have.

Thank you so much. I had just bought this car and was panicked thinking the engine had blow up and had been replaced with a high mile engine or worse!

You are the MAN!!!
