Since the pre-97 Supras don't have as long a throw as the 97-98-s, is it worth it to change to short shifter ?? How much difference can you guys with short shifter feel on pre-97 Supras ??
Another question, with BD shifter, is it still using the same lever for the reverse ??

Thanks, .. Gus

Of course the 97 shifter vs. the pre 97 shifter is quite a bit different, but I couldn't tell much of a difference between the pre 97 shifter and the B&M. I drove Jim Swantko's car, I believe he had the B&M kit.

B&M short throw....

My car is a '94; believe me there is a huge difference between the factory shifter Vs. B&M. The throws are so much shorter!
Also with the BM Shifter, you get the added bonus of having your balls shrink everytime you touch it in the winter. :p

Yep... it is the B&M.
Jim,

I maybe wrong since I thought the difference between my 95 shifter and your B&M was minimal. Your throws were shorter, but I didn't think it was a significant difference. Please give you opinions.

Steve,

From what I remember it was pretty close. I also think the B&M was a little bit shorter... but nothing drastic.

Jim
B&M is also a lot notchier IMHO. Really clicks into gears.

I was considering a B&M short throw shifter, but I could hardly tell the difference.
I agree, the B & M is alot stiffer and notchier. It takes alot more effort from a stock shifter. Didn't have a BM on my '94, but on my '97, the difference is HUGE.

What about this C' shifter ?? I heard it mentioned on some posts, but never seen it on any stores .. is it out of production ??

Thx ... Gus
