Is the 7M block cast iron? What about 1JZ?

so what is the most HP that have been made on a 7M block?

Jesus christ.... ever seen that button on top of the page that says "search" ? You can enter anyquestion in there and (if the search works) it'll give you the answer.

I tried that before I posted. All that came up was concerning the MK4 engine.

If you read post #2, I already got an answer. Your smart ass comment was unnessecary.

I might be new to this forum, but I do know what search button is there for.

toyota use really high nicale containt in the block that why there so tough and such honda does as well i think but not certon

Well then scrap my "smart ass comment", i didn't know you searched, my bad.

But you can search the MK3 forum only aswell. I was responding to your 3rd post btw ;) Look up mibrums topics... then you'll see some serious power ;)

depleated uranium....thats why its so heavy!

The block itself is rigid and quite durable. the only time i changed my block was when a rod broke and went through the side into the free air and when i went turbo. Other then that i have never seen a 7m block split, crack or anything else bad. Other then the cylinderwalls really gets damaged.
