I myself have never bought/used one. I was wondering if it is a one time use thing or what? I'd call Napa but they are closed now.

Any input is appreciated, thanks.

you rent it, and you buy the fluid for it...

it's NOT a perfectly accuraate way to test, compression test is better

It comes with a bottle of fluid and the tester that holds the fluid. The fluid will eventually go bad and you'll have to buy another bottle.

I am trying to convince a friend to get it, the previous owner of his mr2 said they took it to the dealer and diagnosed a bhg...

I just want to see this thing in action.

The kit isn't that expensive. I've had one for several years now (back in 1998 or 1999). You can just order more fluid when you run low.
