As the title states/requests, just trying to see if anyone has any experience with this particular product from Mothers. And, most importantly can I polish my CCW's safely with the particular product?

Thanks,
D3vious.

Yes, you can use it for quick touch ups. For a really good polished finish use the billet as described above and do yourself a favor and get some buffing attachments for your drill that you can use for polishing (Sears has them). It makes it much easier and you'll get a better shine too. You finish it with a polishing cloth.

If the wheel has no clear coat you can also prewash the wheel with dish soap to remove any grease and grime. On billets this make a huge difference in cleaning and polishing and even while washing the car. Just dont use the dish soap on your paint!!!

I also used that stuff to polish the yellowing on my headlights.
lots of polishes will work on plastic, but remember, if you look at them in the right sunlight youll see defects and scratches from polishing.

metal polishes are very abrasive, and they have to be in order to cut through aluminum oxidation and things like that to bring up the metal surface and remove small defects.

paint polishes range from super abrasive to being nearly as abrasive as some metal polishes, to being so fine that they are in the glaze category (polish/filler for final step that most people won't see a difference between unless using inspection lights).

use the right polish for the right application, even if something looks like it works in the light you are working in, doesn't mean its perfect under direct sunlight or a brighter direct light source that resembles an inspection light source.

As for off the shelf polish its a good choice.

I would tell you to order Adams polish.

Google it and go to their web site. I rate Adams Polish over mothers.

^ thank you.... after using Adams Polish.... you will not go back to off the shelf polish.

I said that mothers is a good polish off the shelf... but there are better ones out there... I think the metal polish industry is fighting for that 5.99 price tag on the shelf so they make an ok polish... but for a few bucks more and having to order it you can get some far far better...

See sig if you ever need a reference on step by step on polishing with a drill.
Ive read your thread thoroughly in the past trust me. And, when the time comes and I have an extra 8 hours(lol) ill try that method as well. Right now mine arent too bad though. Also, ive noticed that ZoopSeal seems to be out of production. Anyone know about that at all?

I brought my wheels back to life with this polish.... This stuff works wonders... The issue with owning polished wheels is that they go dull by just sitting in a dark garage.. LOL
