Has anyone tried Isopropyl injection on the 2JZ? Lance at Toyomoto suggested I look at it as a means to ward off detonation and gain 5-6psi on pump gas... The Regal GN boys seem to run this quite a bit. Most of those are systems that use a NOS jet and a fuel pump tied to a pressure switch. I already have a Haltec AIC firing two auxiliaries... Can Isopropyl/water mix be fired through an auxiliary fuel injector? That way I was thinking the Haltec could accurately dose it out in a progressive manner instead of using a simple (crude) on/off pressure switch. The controller is already there and firing injcetors, why not spray the alcohol in the same manner? Supposed gains are similar to running race gas, but at a fraction of the price.
