I'm starting this thread because the interest in JZA70's is starting to skyrocket - best way to find out what you should be looking for. Some fervor has been created over TT-R clones (as if it makes a difference to us NA's)
Please post any info you KNOW to be accurate and I will update the first post as needed. These are some details I have either discovered or welcome clarification on - feel free to add anything else.)

Years available - 90-92 only?
Interior colors/specs - Recaro cloth F/R, no rear wood deck in any JDM MKIII's, molded rear carpet
Exterior colors - mostly black and Mica Green - others?
Hardtop or targa - only hardtop or both?
Differentials - Torsen, 4.10 ratio
Misc interior appointments - steering wheel

seems like its all there. As that info shows, they were only hardtops. The steering wheel in the TT-R's was infact a MOMO wheel from factory and the Recaro interior was more then just the fabric. The front seats are both Recaro racing seats that are relineable and the rear seat has much stiffer hip and side bolsters.

Great writeup on the JZA though. Sticky maybe?

Dont forget the MOMO shift knob that is typically long gone in most JZA70's
And some/most are ABS free
And the bigger swaybars
The bilsteins ride nice too
And the door panels match the seats if you weren't aware
And the steering wheel should have a rubber cover in the center, but it is often gone

Pm me if you have any questions or would like a JZA70

I guess thats a good thing in terms of performance.
Yes, I have driven both ABS equiped and non-ABS equiped vehicles and I personally can stop a car MUCH faster and more controlled WITHOUT ABS. I'm sure other people may be the opposite but for me I prefer no ABS. Besides, it helps the car be just a little lighter without the ABS Hydrolic Control Unit under the hood.
