All the swaps I see have the US Spec head done on the SC. Do you guys know if anyone that has tried and successfully got the JDM VVTI to work in an SC300 including the speedometer and Tach?

There have been a handful of those swaps. No one seems to much about them in the states although they are very popular over sees. Check the IS forums for more info.

Get on Club Lexus, theres a really nice 99 Imperial Jade Mica SC300 with a VVT-I GTE swap with a gt3582r. I really wish that motor was brought over stateside, such a shame..
